Was a good wine, but still a baby. I had a 1967 in 2017. The wine was still singing, not macerated and broken down. Tasting this 2008, I could taste the stuff that would allow this bottle to go 50 years. My advice is to make this one of the last bottles you drink. As we wonder which ones need to be consume due to age or sub-standard corks, don't worry about this one.

These ladies are talented wine makers. Great bottle, though I prefer my bubbles younger.

Got these bottles from Premier Cru before they went bankrupt and were busted for fraud. Had 2 of the 3 I purchased. Both fake bottles. Nothing like a pomeral,. Reminded me of just cab franc. No merlot.

This wine needed 10+ years to become expressive. Great finishing wine after some super big knuckle draggers.

Too big a wine for me. Drank with and old cab and the experience was very similar,. Not a fan of the big Riberas.

In a good place. Last one I tried was five years ago. Would suggest 30-60 minutes of air before drinking. Good balanced acidity.

Good bottle. Structure from start to finish. Super smooth and velvety. Don't think it worth the high $$$ though. Thankfully got this on sale 13 years ago.

Excellent cab! I have not been thrilled with any 2011s, but this one was solid. Great structure, fruit, start and finish.

In its prime. Fruit had great structure with soft tannins. Still plenty of years left in this bottle.

Really great fruit and structure. Better than the 2008. I can see that the bottle is thicker and cork improved. Wine barely had touched the cork so this can be held long term.

Started a little flat, but got better. Had a good cork in it so this wine can go longer should you choose too hold. Shame 2011 was not a better year in CA.

Very concentrated wine. Reminded me of higher concentration wines like Harlan. Not thin in any way. Wine was good, but not spectacular. I don't think this is worth the high price point.

Though these have a lot of variability Perhaps where they source the fruit. Rutherford mountain? Can we be so sure? There are no rules in CA. Nonetheless, this was juicy and good.

I've tried many cabs from this age in the last few years. This one had no fade and is juicy and wonderful. Thankfully, the cork held up too and had a long way to go. Most of the cabs like Caymus, Conn Valley Anderson, Frank Family, Heitz, Bryant Family, etc. all go to the same place with a linear finish that is underwhelming. I applaud the vintage. I want a different experience in each cab and got it here. Other than Diamond Creek can't think of the last time I get a different flavor profile. Well done.

Good structure. No issue at this age. Well rounded and full bodied. Tannins have relented and grape essence coming through. Good bottle.

Wine has held up great despite many other producers having a fade in their wine at this age. Enjoyable.

It's a nice cab, but overpriced. I have tasted over 20 of these. Core issue is the cheap cork they used. It's a shame since the bottle is costly. From the 20 I have tried this one is solid with no flaws. Several have had flaws. I think it from importing grapes from who knows where. Thus a lot a variability in the wine.

Surprised me. Drinking lovely. Still held together and not moving to that one place which older cabs do. Cork was spongy though. I was lazy and snapped it, but surgically extracted it. Don't drink much from this maker, but I get the feeling their wines aren't over manipulated.
