This was fantastic. Great weight and balance. Deep cherry flavors. Should age well in the medium term.

Slightly past peak maturity now. Drinking well with a fading fruit profile and nice secondaries.

Wow, this wine was incredible. Gave it a generous decant of 4 hours. Super delicious from the first sip when the cork was popped. Amazing complexity and vibrant fruit. Much better than I was even expecting after cellaring this for 15 years!

Thin and simple on the palate with an overly sweet finish. Love the whites but disappointed with my first taste of a red.

Easy drinking and quite delicious. Fresh cherry notes on a mid weight palate. Kermit Lynch import, so there is that.

Drank beautifully. Decanting was the key here as there is plenty of sediment and the wine really opened up with air. Lighter in texture but plenty of complexity. Can't believe I bought this bottle for $38!

Drinking nicely and open for business. On the lean side so I don't anticipate any upside from here.

I have some concerns about the intrinsic value of this wine just like Willi V. I own more of them. Very tight and austere. With air it slowly opened but never shined brightly. Not sure if this will ever be great.

The prior note from kohada is spot on. Tight initially, becomes more enjoyable with air. Has an earthy, dusty quality to it and a complex finish. Nice pair with marinara sauce and pasta.

Second bottle much more closed than the first. Lighter in style but not giving up the goods tonight. I'm still intrigued by this producer.

Appears not to be a successful vintage of this usually very solid and reliable wine. I found the wine disjointed, too sweet and generally too natural tasting.
