While this has begun to fade a bit, this Bordeaux-style blend is still a fantastic bottle of wine with great structure and nice complexity. Should drink well for a few more years.

Fruit forward cab that is pleasant to drink with a variety of meat and non-meat dishes. Not much structure, so if you have it, better drink up!

Excellent! Still plenty of body, with lot of dark fruit and a hint of spice. The party favorite!

Not bad, but not much depth. On the decline, so drink up if you have any.

This bottle had a little more depth than the first example I tasted.

Young fruit bomb without much structure. Some blackberry and blueberry notes, but all at the front of the palate. Not a fan.

Fruit forward cab. Good wine to drink after a mind-numbing day at work.

Loved this zin. Age has smoothed out the edges and made this a beautiful, luscious wine with a nice spice left on the finish.

Excellent! Decanted and let breath for about 30 minutes before serving. Smooth and complex dark, brooding fruit. Everyone loved it!

On the decline. Fruit is fading and there is not much structure to hang what's left. If you own this, drink up. Serve with simple fare.

Fruit forward without a whole lot of structure. Not bad for the price, though.

Lots of oak, but not so much that it overpowers the fruit, which is dark and luscious. Well bodied but not too tight. Long finish. Drinkable right now.

Purchased at Steve Fields Steak House. Powerful fruit upon opening softened as the evening wore on. Complex and not overly tannic. One of my favorites.

Overly oakey and astringent. Not a fan.

Purchased at a restaurant. Luscious and well structured, blackberry and a bit of plum on the nose. Wonderful mouth-feel with a medium finish length. It should cellar for at least another 5 years. I would absolutely purchase again!

Simple and straight forward, this Bordeaux-style red is great to pair with a pasta bolognese or burgers off the grill.

Very approachable dry rose from France. Paired with an avocado shrimp salad and that combo worked quite nicely.

This is drinking wonderfully right now. Silky-smooth tannins, full-bodied, with plenty of fruit. Nice long finish. Wonderful!

Received this as a gift and made the mistake of cellaring it for several years. When I finally popped the cork, there was no 'pop'. Bad sign. Poured into a flute with the color of rust. I was then stupid enough to taste it. Poured the bottle down the drain.

A simple Merlot that is far more like a light Pinot Noir than robust cab. Quite enjoyable with light fare like a dinner salad or simple pasta dish.

Pleasantly surprised. Good QPV. Bold but not too tight. Will probably peak by the end of 2017.

Still good, but on the decline. Fruit was thinner than the last time I had this and it is no longer a bold, full bodied pinot. If you have some in your cellar, pop the cork and enjoy!

Full bodied and not too tight, this was a great addition to our Italian dinner. Should cellar well for for at least another 4-5 years.

Fruity and a bit sweet. It would pair well with a veggie pizza, but its a bit too sweet to sip on its own for me.

Drink with Salmon at Capital Grill. Luscious Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley in CA. Could stand more time in the bottle to round out some of the tannic edges.

Had this wine with dinner at Capital Gill in Plano, so the bottle did not have an opportunity to air. Tannins were taught and a bit overpowering. Re-corked it and stuck it in the fridge for a couple of days. The result was a wonderful balance of powerful fruit, nice acidity on the mid pallet, and s smooth finish. Lesson learned: decant this one or let it air for a while before drinking. You will be nicely rewarded if you do.
