Our last bottle from this vintage and it has aged well. The oak has integrated so that its not obtrusive. Still has acidity that works well with food. Garnet color with no signs of bricking.

This is an intense Merlot. Dark purplish color. Nose has hints of leather. Full bodied on initial opening with the fruit becoming more prevalant an hour later. This will be in its prime drinking window for years to come.

Had this wine with a ham & potato dinner. It appears to be just past its prime. Lost of its fruit…the oak is a touch over powering now. Very light bodied and color. Still drinkable, but I would not hold this year any longer.

Such a great saugvignon blanc, and such a shame that this producer is no longer around. Amazing balnace between the fruit and acidity.
The wine looks straw colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like grapefruit and hay/straw.

A classic that always is in stock in my cabinet. It too sweet for me to drink neat, so I prefer it with ice. Great for cocktails, and in hot chocolate or coffee. For sipping, the 15 year version is best.

elegant zinfandel but needs 1/2 hour for the flavors to open up. Deep red color, and a cranberry/dark cherry/leather nose. smooth entry and mid palate. At first I thought something was missing from the finish, but then I realised that it didn't have the alcoholic hit on the finish that zins can have.

Reminds me of an aged Bordeaux. Dark almost opaque red, nose needed time to open up to plum and a little leather. Medium weight, but elegant mouth feel, plummy and fine tannins. Maybe near the end of its prime, but it went very well with beef tenderloin and dark chocolates.

Blueberry flavors overtakes the initial earthiness about an hour after opening the bottle. Scherrer OMV is an elegant expression of zinfandel.

Ardbeg 10 year old is a very high quality single malt that I enjoyed immensely. It actually pairs well with some cheeses, shellfish, and even some desserts. The peat is upfront but the citris notes come thru too.
