Fruit has mostly gone and showing past it's prime for sure. Balance is a bit off too, but still tastes good. Will need to drink our last bottle sooner rather than later.

This is now well past prime. Very bricky, and plummy. Still good, but if you have any of this vintage drink it now.

Smooth and very well balanced. Fruit slowly fading, but a great earthy flavor that went well with our grilled tomahawk steak.

Poured through vinturi, had with smoked lamb rack about 15min later. Very smooth, still full of blueberry fruit. Light tannins on the back end. Glad to still have another bottle remaining after this one.

Wonderfully balanced with great flavors and still an appropriate amount of tannins. Great now and would still be good 5 years from now.

Drank with friends at a Brazilian steakhouse. Almost pop-n-pour. It drank wonderfully, is very well balanced. Smooth mouthfeel with integrated tannins. Didn't get great tasting notes due to the circumstances, so all I can say is that it's really good. Drinking well now, and can sure last a good number years longer. Plan to hold our other bottle for at least 3-5 more years.

Paired wonderfully with grill lamb. Solid structure, well balanced, and elegant. Still has quite a good amount of life left to it.

Wonderful dark color in glass, complex aromas, solid balance. Cocoa covered blackberries on the finish. Very little sediment, pairs wonderfully with smoked ribs. Started out a bit closed, but opened further after 30 min.

A little bricky in the glass, as to be expected. But still full of fruit and spice. Great balance and like no sediment. Great until the last drop. And perfect with smoked ribs.

Finally drank our last bottle of this, and it still has quite good structure and body. Even maintained quality over the course of 3 or 4 days with being vacu-vin'd in the fridge each time. No specific notes taken, other than that it had good amounts of dark berry fruit tones combined with the earthy notes that come from it's age.

Nothing goes better with family farm lamb shank Osso Buco than a nicely aged KR PS.

A very nicely aged wine, herbal earthy notes, fruit is a bit muted as expected. Worked very well with grilled porterhouse.

Possibly not aging well or just not a big fan of Merlot primary Bordeaux. This just wasn't really to our liking.

Bright golden color. Notes of honey and apricot with a pleasant balance of semi-sweetness and tartness. Sublime finish that just rolls through the mouth. Worked well with some grilled brats and as a savory post-meal sipper along with some chocolate. This could easily have gone a good number of more years in cellar.

Certainly showing it's age, the nose and palate is low on fruit but high on the brambly herbaceous tones. Worked well with pasta, sausage, and sauce. Has a bit of an acidic bite to it on the finish, but still very tasty and balanced overall.
White - Sweet/Dessert

Nose and body are very herbaceous, with minimal fruit notes. Little bit of a dusty overtone, but certainly still quite tasty. Suggest drinking any you have sooner rather than later.

An absolutely wonderful wine to have with a perfectly grilled porterhouse. Even at this age, it benefited from being run through a Vinturi. Bold and balanced, with solid tannins. Earthy, with dark fruits, and various complexities. Absolutely love Jeff's wines.

Bottle was slightly flawed in that the cork was soaked through and partially protruding with some stickiness having leaked through. But the wine was still quite tasty and drinkable. Possibly a partially bad cork, but not enough to be harmful to the wine. Probably not at it's ideal flavor profile, but still certainly quite enjoyable.

Marking as flawed simply because it's the same as the first bottle I opened years ago. The sawdust on the nose and taste seems just wrong and overpowering that I had to dump this bottle as undrinkable.

Quite wonderful and still boasting a good amount of fruit. Pouring through a filter into decanter helped with any sediment (plus, the cork broke). Well balanced, dark fruits, earthy components, and more. Really love Jeff's wines when aged.

Even with 12 yrs of age on it, this wine is holding up well with flavorful deep berry fruits with just the right amount of earthy tones. Well balanced and shows how good even the inexpensive Spanish wines can be.

Started with some funk on the nose, and a bit on the palate as well. Almost no fruit left and very earthy/dusty. Certainly past prime and nearing the point of non-drinkable. But for now it still has a decent enough flavor and a solid backbone. If you have any left, drink it now. Still have 1 left in storage...it'll be among the next boxes taken out.

Poured the glasses for dinner about 15 minutes before it was ready, no decanting. Nose was a lovely blend of black fruit, tobacco, herbs, and a hint of mushroom floor. When started drinking with dinner (grilled porterhouse) was excellently well balanced, showing blueberry, spice, clove, and integrated tannins weaved in. Still going strong and flavorful more than an hour after opening. Can't wait to have my other bottles in a few years.

Nose has become a bit muted, though does have some nice earth tones. On the palate is balanced with some mild spice and soft fruit, but also some acidity on the back end. Will have to pull my other two bottles out of storage soon to be consumed as it is on the decline.

Wonderful wine for birthday steak dinner, still showing great with 21 years of age on it. Muted fruit on the nose, expected from a wine of this age. Very well balanced, with earthy and some mild vegetal notes on the palate. Tannins are mostly subsided, but still slightly there.

Still tasty, but likely on a downward spiral. Seemed rather thin and light, with sweetness coming through. Worked well with a grilled steak and crab leg dinner, since it didn't overpower the crab legs.
