A well aged California Chardonnay. Pronounced nose. Full mouthfeel of ripe tropical fruits. Oak is well integrated. A lovely wine

Magical. Drinking so elegantly. Tannins resolved, acidity still bright. On the nose blue fruits, primarily boysenberry. Also slight leather/cedar component. Mouthfeel was silky with a very nice finish. Once again, predominant blackberry, boysenberry. Lovely wine

Pronounced nose of black fruit. As others have mentioned, a lighter style Aussie Shiraz. Very nice. The palate is elegant with high acidity, mild tannins and a medium finish. Overall the mouthfeel is very appealing. Boysenberry jumps out for me mid palate. I found that quite nice.

Gorgeous bottle of Pinot. Hitting its prime right about now. Berries a little earth/mushroom and velvety tannins. Full mouthfeel and lingering finish. Strong...very strong.

Deep ruby with pronounced aromas of cedar, amd red cherry. High acidity with med-high tannins. Opened up nicely after 30 minutes in the glass. On palate a nicely layered red cherry, chocolate and cinnamon. Medium finish
Happy with the wine and excellent QRP @ $14

Second bottle acquired from winery. This is a dam fine wine! Similar tasting notes to previous note on day 1. Day 2…oh my. Smooth smooth smooth and a wonderful taste of cocoa, The fine silky kind. Drinking it standalone and whereas food would be great…it’s just wonderful to sit back and enjoy on its own.

A big, intense and very rich bottle of wine. Needed some time in glass (30 mins) to soften the grippy tannins. Cocoa, dark fruit with a nice long finish. €43, which is a bargain,in a nice restaurant in San Sebastián. Paired exceptionally well with the txuleta.

Here is the deal…deep, full, slightly tannic wine from 2016. 20 minutes in the glass and drinking like a rock star. Full bodied and overall a very impressive wine. Tobacco, leather and wonderfully earthy. Quite a long finish. Oh yeah ..,€20 in the restaurant

2014 reserva…not the best vintage, but a very very good bottle of wine. Love the nose of a pure Tempranillo. Silky tannins with the obligatory cedar and tobacco. Bueno espana

Recommended by a wine shop owner in San Sebastián. Excellent. Love the minerality and the slight citrusy finish. Drinking stand-alone but would rock with some shellfish or fish. €9 in Spain

It has been a year since last visting this wine. I love the flavors that are evoloving. The meaty, bacon fat tasting profile is one that I am continuing to become more enamoured with. What makes this really nice is the silkyness in combination with the taste.

Perfect wine with our Turkey. Shane is producing some of the best QPR wine anywhere. The fruit and acidity were exactly what our Thanksgiving was looking for. Beautiful flavors of citrus coat your mouth. This is exactly the kind of producer that I love supporting.

Gorgeous wine. Approachable, silky and elegant. The fruit is so pure, the tannins integrated. This is rapidly becoming my go to Cab.

Way to early to be drinking this baby. PnP on Thanksiving day. The youth combined with a long day of tasting overload (food and wine) did not do this any favors. I am a big big believer in Epoch. Want to try this on its own to let it shine.

I thought this wine was really really good. Popped and poured for friends Thanksgiving night, thought it was appropriate considering the day and the name of the wine. Anyway...a very strong wine that will benefit from laying down for a while. The fruit is there and nice...give it some time though.

Ditto on the massiveness. The smell is like putting your nose in a jar of vanilla. wow! Still quite young. Popped/poured throgh a vinturi...still serious tannins. That being said a velvety midpalate and mouth feel. This is going to mellow out with age and be an absolute bombshell of a wine.

I know it is early in the year...but I will be hard pressed to drink a better wine this year. Amazing deep dark almost black color out of the bottle. Just looks like oil being poured. Immediately met with amazing floral notes. On the palate, brilliant balance and silkyess. I loved the vanilla tones. Even though it had extended barrel age, I thought the oak was perfectly integrated. This was day one. Day Two was even better. Continued evolution of the flavors, but what really set this apart was the body. It just coats the mouth with perfect balance. Gonna be hard to hold off on my other two.

Magnificent wine. Bold yet refined. All the traditional Cab flavors one expects, but with a balance and purity that stands out. Will age gracefully for sometime...

Fantastic bottle of wine. I could just taste the cool nights of the Santa Cruz mountains. Pure fruit with great balance. First exposure to the SCM and I think it is a wonderful wine.

Had New Years eve along with Stefania SCM. A beautiful bottle of wine. Decanted 2+ hours and then drank over the next couple. Smooth elegant finish with a very full body yet lucious mouthfeel. The story behind the wine also adds to the allure. Always nice to see good people do well.

WOTN among other CA '07 syrah (Torrin, Rhys and Pax). Still quite young, but very good example of what a powerhouse Syrah should taste like. Powerful fruit that will evolve over time. Still quite young.

Amazing bottle of wine. Was tasted blind among 4 Napa '07s and unanamously was the WOTN for the group of 10. Big strong wine, yet elegent and refined at the same time. The finish as majestic.
Am going to hold on my other bottle for a very special time. Should age effortlessly for many many years.

Fabulous bottle of wine. Extremely pure fruit. Was somewhat hidden among a big night of blind cab tasting, but nonetheless still memorable. Will definitely look forward to having this as a standalone wine with a good meal. My guess is that it will shine even more.

My first Buccella cab and was very impressed. Two hour decant and consumed over three. Still quite young but tannins do not overpower the fruit to much. Cherry covered chocolates were the dominant taste. Think this will show a lot better in the years to come

Very smooth, creamy bottle of cab. The tannins have had a chance to really soften this wine. Clean pure fruit...with chocolate and mild dark fruit. Really nice bottle of wine. Had with Tenderloin Medallions with a mushroom sauce and thought the pairing was very good.
