No score on this tasting.

A very structured wine, it needs time that's for sure, some of Beckmans other reds when young can taste.to "sweet" this is not one, it has deep red fruit in background, pop n pour oak vanilla is there decanted for an hour or all blends in, so with age I can see.this being pretty awesome. Added more to cellar.and will wait 3years before having another

Had this wine at a one star Michelin Restaurant in San Diego, really enjoyed it wanted to buy a bottle, Somm/manager came in with a price way to expensive, googled found it at a Zachys wine auction

This tasting note is on the wine received from auction.

Nose is Rich and Ripe, very pleasant.
taste, loads of ripe tart fruit, texture is there.

Wife.thougut on first smell and taste Oregon Pinot, which shows in wine the ripeness which is amazing

Had on our patio last night.

Pop n Pour, needs 30mins of air, so recommend just a quick decant. Very pleasant, crunchy red fruit with just a nice tart.bordraux fruit background (all positive). Just a refreshing change from all the CdP And Cali Reds we drink with our friends.

I think this wine will age a bit, but nothing crazy, enjoyed as is

Apple, oxidative, good body, a "interesting wine"

Opened at 11am drinking at 7pm

Unique, good for wine nerds not for people who wanna drink wine

As my wife says "if your grandma's gold 1973 drapes had a taste this would be it"

Don't know what to make of this wine, it was very tart and wouldn't say lean but I would say VA? oxidative? I did not enjoy this even with air. To me didn't taste like white Burg and my wife who loves white Burg didn't think it tastr anything like a white burg

Aroma: floral, graphite, fruity
Taste: juicy fruity with dry tannins, with a thinning finish

Conc: enjoyable at 10years and still youthful but don't see a lot of structure for long term

Showing exceptionally well today, after my last bottle I think way back when. I was covered about stability but this I think could still age for another 5-10years the Boytris is keeping it fresh and interesting and same time! Ripe tropical/pear/flowers notes big luscious body!

Aroma, stone fruits (peach) bits, mineral delicate tho.
Palate a good medium body with a backbone of acidity holding it all together, good long finish more peach and lemon/lime with this lingering subtle creaminess

The acidity body balance seems touch out of balancs, acidity is mellowing but there isn't any autolytic quality to balance the racyness, its enjoyable bit touch out of balancs drank 1.8.16
