March 31, 2024 - Dark fruit, spice, and just a hint of menthol. Fully resolved, with secondary and tertiary notes emerging. Very good now, I think this has plenty of time left but not sure if it will get much better. Drink or hold.

December 18, 2023 - Another classic Leonetti cab. Drink now or hold a couple of years but I don’t see it getting any better.
August 13, 2023 - had this at my birthday dinner at the barking frog. I t was amazing. gave the waiter 4 oz for his work.
June 19, 2023 - Purchased bottle from auction, decanted for 1hr before drinking with a ribeye over the course of a couple hours. Plenty of depth and power here with dark fruits up front and savory notes to complement the fruit. Very rich wine but already turning fairly pruney with age. This was my first bottle of Leonetti cab and for the price, I was fairly disappointed compared to more affordable bottles of Figgins with ~15 years of age that have blown me away. I've similarly been disappointed by Leonetti merlot and sangiovese that I've tried in the past. Difficult to know if this was cellared properly but not planning to splurge on these any time soon.
October 15, 2022 - No formal notes, except to say that this was a beautiful wine - rich, elegant, balanced and incredibly rich both on the nose and the palate.

June 25, 2022 - Not the 94-95 banger of several years past. Perhaps a bit tired this was... as it enters its tertiary stage of life. Drink now.
