March 24, 2014 - Cherries on the nose and palate, this wine was pleasantly tart with fruit holding it up on the sides. Not a deep wine with contemplative character, its pop and pour!
I wish Faiveley would invest a little more into this property instead of milking it for everything its got. Once upon a time this was the real deal. Today its just a Disney Land wine.
Kurt, if you have any left in your cellar, suggest you drink up before next fall.

March 3, 2014 - The nose is very inviting, with red cherry, spice and floral aromatics; The palate is fairly fruit-forward but balanced by some earthy notes leading to a medium finish; There's some definite character to this wine, even if it's not overly complex
January 20, 2014 - PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs and Day 2
-med dark red with some purple tinge
-reticent, trace Burg funk, dark red fruits
-med acidity, med+ concentration impressive for the weight, very nice mouthfeel and depth, med tannins give a touch of rusticity
-very good, nice value
December 7, 2013 - A little darker…not as pretty as the 10….which I prefer over this. Still, nice wine for the money.
November 2, 2013 - Medium brownish red, clear. Aromas of raspberry, strawberry, black pepper, damp forest. Medium to high tannins, light acidity. Sour cherry, BBQ meat, licorice palate. Overall okay, a bit thin and not well-balanced. Not one I'd seek out again
