December 29, 2020 - Light cloudy ruby color. Milk chocolate, dust, and strong red berries on the nose. Notes of strong red berries dominate. Tons of energy. Sweet and lush with a delicious sourness. Fantastic. It should hold for a bit but I would drink it now.
June 14, 2019 - This is very approachable at this time very well balanced, the tannins have softened. Has notes of cherry and dark fruit. I will hold on to my remaining for a couple of years to allow further development.
April 26, 2018 - Decanted and served. This 2010 is singing and ready to go. Refined, fabulous fruit from this premium vineyard, made in a style somewhere between new world and old. Long finish with caramel notes. Great showing.
September 14, 2017 - Outstanding wine. Opened a pond drank, if we had given it a chance it probably would have been better. Wonderful!

December 23, 2012 - plump with great cherry and blackberry fruit but not overdone. cedar and asian five spice add a great savory component.
December 15, 2012 - Great wine, just not ready yet. Given time, it will be better. Tasted at the winery (on extensive notes). 90 plus points.
August 22, 2012 - Two Burgundy lovers and their weekend in Napa Valley (SF/NAPA): Just prior to bottling. Chocolate, dust, red fruit and a touch astringent from the under ripe tannin. I think as it matures I can see the fruit balancing out the tannin a bit better and being a very tasty drink as the tannins are a bit strong right now.
