September 12, 2022 - 200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Dark fruit, precise, brooding, lots of reserve, very impressive, masculine, opened up with air and displayed amazing complexity.

March 8, 2019 - Some Wine Tasted at the Zachys La Paulée Auction; 3/7/2019-3/8/2019 (Le Bernardin Prive - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Last pour from bottle. Sweet black fruit with sweet spice and very rich spice. Impressive concentration and length.

February 28, 2018 - La Paulée Chevalier Fête (Saison - San Francisco CA): Certainly good, but disappointing vs last time tasted a few years back. Rich black fruit, still showing youthful exuberance. Very good balance, good weight and length. Moderate complexity, especially when compared to prior bottles.

May 27, 2014 - Latricières-Chambertin Dinner (Paris Club - Chicago IL): Open 2+ hours before serving single blind in Leroy 1995-2001 Latricieres flight. Red and black cherry aromas and flavors are fresh and forward with some dark berry hints. Great spice with floral notes. Modest structure. At a great place now. I correctly identified each vintage in this flight.
