January 15, 2018 - Still very good depth, dry fruits and fines tannins.
A good bargain.
December 3, 2017 - This one starts off a little gritty and chalky but then smooths out delivering on spiced-plum and delicious black raspberry.
September 23, 2017 - The last of a case, good buy but with some bottle variation or strange ups and downs. Fun though.
May 28, 2017 - Pretty good showing here, lots of spicy and herbal notes and dark red fruits and cedar. Somewhat floral, quite lifted perfume which did drink better on day 1 when it was a little more exuberant. Seems to be ageing well and I would say improving, pretty well balanced wine for the price and happy to have a couple left.
March 24, 2017 - This wine took a few years but gracious quaffing at the moment.

August 20, 2016 - Still drinking very nicely - full body, good balance, medium finish - great with meat!
April 22, 2016 - Nice core of ripe dark fruits. Somewhat peppery too. Drinks fairly easily.
March 14, 2016 - Pretty consistent with last year's note. Medium garnet with some bricking. Showing more age than I might expect, but not to its detriment, particularly for my palate. Cork was stained all the way up too with a funky, moldy cap and cork end. Aromas of dried and bloody meat, herbs, licorice, macerated cherry, and black and dark red fruits. Medium body, medium(-) acid and finish, and flavors largely mirroring the aromas. It's a nice, savory, food-friendly wine that worked perfectly with Portuguese BBQ'd chicken tonight.
