June 30, 2017 - Always a good day when it involves 90 Cheval. Caramel, silky, just lovely.

May 30, 2017 - Close to full maturity, but with no hurry to drink it, this is the quintessential, opulent wine. Lush, but not fat. It's elegant and hedonistic at the same time. Floral, smoky, licorice, coconut and plum notes make an impression. But it is the silky, sexy palate presence that seals the deal.

May 29, 2017 - Decanted 3 hours, consistent with previous tasting notes. Outstanding bottle once again!

May 12, 2017 - This one dances across the tongue like a ballerina in toe shoes. Or maybe the entire corps de ballet. Delicate, ethereal and complex at the same time. Truly a delight.

April 30, 2017 - Decanted 2 hours and tasted. Very good, but needed another hour to really open up and blossom, so pretty consistent with previous bottles needing about 3 hours of air. Amazing nose and palate! Outstanding wine!

(Cheval Blanc) This was showing very young on this particular night but has loads of potential. Actually was a bit hot to start off with. Incredibly rich and decadent with great concentration but a touch awkward at this stage. Really started to strut it's stuff towards the end of the evening and the resemblance to the '82 became more clear. The nut thing started to develop on the nose and there was some exotic spice. This was great but if anybody has any I would give it 5-10 more years.
