March 13, 2016 - Nice smooth wine. Not a very long finish. An ok Malbec for the price.
April 30, 2013 - For the price, this malbec blew us away ($14). Beautiful dark fruit nose, nicely balanced from start to finish, quite sophisticated for the price. This would be my house malbec and am sure most would enjoy in any setting.
October 4, 2012 - Works well with bold food flavors, deep dark red in color, red berries on the nose, very smooth with a hint of heat and smoke at the end. This seems to be an excellent value in South American Malbec.

July 2, 2012 - Popped and poured. I was very pleasantly surprised. Not tannic. A nice fig or chocolate note in the nose and taste. A lot softer than other similarly priced Malbecs. A great wine for the price.
May 20, 2012 - Very nice Malbec. Went well with steak.
January 16, 2012 - (pop&ride) needs a little air time......and continues to get better....just a straight forward very enjoyable everyday drinker for relax or table
January 8, 2012 - Butter and a touch of smoke on the nose. Fruit is coming across as sweeter on the palate this time, though the acidity is still the star of the show, bright and tangy. Quite structured. Dark berry and fig linger on the finish.
August 10, 2011 - Solid every day food friendly wine. Higher acidity, for sure. Fruit needed some time to settle. Was initially a bit stewed. It eventually opened up into something a bit more expressive. My hung is that this could use some bottle age or decant.
April 28, 2011 - Tart fruit and good acidity makes this a fine partner with food.
