August 31, 2020 - on the riper side of american pinot but has balance and acidity. i would have this with a pork chop or hamburger.

August 13, 2019 - This was delicious. Great fruit flavor of dark red cherries, but doesn’t go too sweet. There’s some nice balance from earthiness. Too bad it’s my last bottle.

May 5, 2019 - Red cherry is the star attraction here. With some cherry skin and cola but with a savory element through that, for me, saves this from tipping into the new world overblown category. Unlike the ‘13 wohler I had the other day, this is carrying its 14.3% abv without issue. Nose shows some barrel char almost smokey, camp fire notes. Holding up admirably but still not sure this is hitting my ideal flavor profile zone. Ymmv.

May 14, 2017 - Candied sour cherries on the nose. Lots of acidity, ultra concentrated red fruit, notes of coconut. Well made, but a bit too forward for my taste.

July 9, 2016 - PnP, with a decant. Followed over several hours. So delicious and crazy aromatics. I guess it has more time but why wait? Similar experience to other 93 pt reviews. Wow.

November 27, 2015 - From a 375. Pop and pour. Starts out with tart strawberry which blends into an earthy finish.

November 11, 2014 - Crimson in color. 14.3% ABV. Great nose of clove, red fruits, mushrooms and earth. Medium body and more acidity than I am accustomed to from Sojourn. Rich and spicy. Black cherry, strawberry, cranberry and mineral on the palate. Exceptional finish. The best Sojoun Pinot Noir in recent memory. Drink over the next 3-5 years.

August 21, 2014 - Smooth, creamy, and enticingly sweet. A beautifully polished Cali pinot.
