August 18, 2019 - Nose of pepper, and candies cherry.
Good acidity carries the wine, pepper and quick acidic finish. Fruit comes accross as candied on the palette as well.
May 14, 2016 - still strong.
April 13, 2015 - reliably good. Cranberry, spice, long finish
December 31, 2014 - I like it
December 12, 2013 - Quite nice thru the flavour flat when in the mouth I believe due age. I think this a little past it prime. I have enjoyed server all bottles over the last several years.
November 24, 2013 - From vineyards located in Sonoma, Mendocino, and Santa Barbara counties, this garnet hued wine has a nose of sweet, ripe berries with a touch of earth and smoky herbs. The palate is rich, thick, and creamy for a Pinot Noir. Flavors of red cherries, cola, red candy licorice, and chocolate truffle form the core. Finishes long, with hints of cola and minerals. Utterly enjoyable and sumptuously easy to drink, yet multi-dimensional and complex. This is my kind of Pinot Noir. Drink from 2011 to 2019.
October 29, 2013 - Popped and poured. Nose of raspberry and plum, same fruits subtly on the palate. Nice balance at this price point ( I think we paid $15 from a store that , lamentably, has closed). As others have noted, great QPR.
October 25, 2013 - Lots of raspberry with hints of dried cherry...on the sweet side...somewhat balanced due to a light finish.
September 10, 2013 - - Garnet color with medium forming legs and aromas of cedar and cherry. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of cherry, black currant and raspberry with a medium/full body. Leathery texture with a medium finish - Nice wine. Nose is dried fruit with a hint of resin, maybe cedar. Medium balance with nice velvety texture on the mid-palette. Dried cherry prevalent. Somewhat short on the finish. Goes nicely with salmon with a bourbon sauce.
July 1, 2013 - Nice for the money
The body is Medium.
