February 1, 2024 - Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Merlot 46% and Petit Verdot 4%. 13% vol. Perfect fill and cork.
Decanted half an hour before dinner and served it rather cool (~16°C). On the nose dark fruited, leather and a hint of forest floor, on the palate fresh and dry, good depth and long finish.
Classic old school Médoc, was perfect with cheese, dried sausages and bread. In a nice spot now, less mature and more elegant than the bottle I had two years ago, drink now or within the next ten years. -
