December 7, 2019 - More solid than many entry level CdPs at its age, it is clearly in decline though. Somewhat austere, with a reticent nose of cherry, herbs de provence, and funk, this show some level of Grenache and CdP character. It is missing energy though, and the palate is not totally together and too acidic. I think drinking earlier would help and I've concluded that unlike other noble regions, CdP is not one to age to 20 years.
