October 11, 2014 - Decanted one hour. Hazy purple in color, with lifting cherry, strawberry, and wet earth aromas. The palate exhibits red cherry, blackberry, black tea, tilled soil, and spice notes. Nice texture and medium-plus finish.

July 3, 2014 - Whoa whoa whoa! I thought I had tasted this before but not the case. This is a stellar wine. Color is murky maroon. The nose is burg; rhubarb, earth, and moss. Palate is ripe rhubarb, brown stems, medium plus acidity delivers a tang on the long finish.

This is a superb wine and will continue to improve. Damn, I only have one more. Maybe the greatest QPR for Pinot. This moves up to the top of the list for WOTY. Bravo Eric.

June 1, 2014 - Great Berserker Day buy. Musky strawberry and cherry flavors, with some initial prickliness that dissipates with air. The acidity is in good balance with the fruit, giving the wine energy and force while still retaining a sense of elegance. Seems to be made with a very classic sensibility. Delicious.

May 8, 2014 - Translucent cheery red in the glass. Beautiful, classic pinot nose - cherry, mushroom, minerals, forest floor, and a hint of sweet flowers. Delicate but powerful on the palate, with cherries and minerals and a delicious subtle mineral bitterness. Formidable finish - not too long, but blooming with tasty acids and a darker note of fruit. Overall a wonderful wine, and a great bargain for under $25 direct from the winery during a special Berserker Day sale; would gladly pay considerably more for Pinot of this quality.

April 20, 2014 - PnP and drank over 1+ hours. Dry, light:medium bodied and some slight restraint. Notes of tart cherry, raspberry and cranberry with some rhubarb, wet rocks, and trace of green-ness. Fruit maybe starting to fade or pehaps this is just coming out of a slumber state. Fine chalky tannins, moderate acidity and clean medium finish.
