Community Tasting Notes 1

August 27, 2011 - Exiting wine. Color: Dark red, brick at rim, hint of sediments. Nose: Heady, very tart, dry earth, more herbs than fruit, some tar. Palate: Very smooth start, the middle somewhat dried up - some missing fruit. Long dry and herby aftertaste. Good, but absolutely over the hill. Somewhat difficult to match to food. Maybe peppery food would suit.
