January 1, 2017 - Still a little early on this wine. Has some potential, hope there's enough fruit to carry thru

December 31, 2016 - Mouton, Shafer, SQN, Prum, Chave, CdP, Yquem, Port ++ (Home): Awesome. Opened and allowed to breathe for 10 hours. Young, but just fantastic. Purple in color. The nose has cassis, pencil lead, charcoal, cedar and vanilla. Firm tannins, but lots of fruit. Seamless texture. Cassis and cedar on the palate. Finish goes on for a long time. While this wine has a couple of decades left, it it so accessible right now. Perhaps one of the clear differences between Napa and Bordeaux. Just delicious. The bottle was drained quickly.

December 11, 2016 - This is drinking well right now. Simply put, this blew away the 2005 Colgin my friend brought to our tasting. The opened up about 20 minutes after we popped the cork. It's loaded with fruit and was still perfect 5 hours later as the Colgin began to fade. A powerhouse.

November 13, 2016 - Best wine I've had in 2016 bar none. Layered, complex, rich. Oaky on the nose, good acid and tons of fruit.
