July 15, 2016 - Another fabulous wine. Deep ruby look with a breathtaking nose full of a bouquet of red fruits. Finish was amazing! This wine is worth every penny! Totally legit!

June 4, 2016 - Decanted for 2 hours. This had the classic Rutherfird dust on the nose with blackberry, sweet cherry, iron and some plum. On the palate this had some nice blackberry, cherry, currant, kirsch and iron. Ended with a super long finish of almost a minute. Was really flirting with perfection. Just a great sensory experience!

June 2, 2016 - Tasted after an hour decant. Very intense dark berries and cassis on the nose, with oak notes on the back end. Ripe and concentrated blackberries on the palate - briefly was reminded of a ruby port before the tannins kicked in which are still quite grippy. Long finish. For the hype behind the wine I have to say I was quite let down. Perhaps it is still too young and still not as harmonious as it could be, but I would easily take hundred acre over this, or even a cheaper option like Paradigm or Plumpjack. Just a little too over extracted for my taste.

January 13, 2016 - Dark and aromatic, but very closed down initially. Opened up nicely after about an hour decant. Massive core of rich dark fruit, hints of black licorice, pepper, and cocoa. Nicely balance structure and drinkable now, but will give other bottles a few more years.

October 17, 2015 - Beautiful wine. Big, complex nose of dark cherry, mocha, licorice. Loads of fruit; continued to evolve through the night.
