Medium bodied and very good balance. Nice and clean palate.
    Medium length

April 5, 2012 - Langton's Cellar Club 4 April 2012 (Roof Terrace Australian Museum): Some rim fade lemon and gold highlights. Aromas, straw, smoked bacon - sulphur, stone fruit, butter over citrus, very slight nuttiness, stone and slate minerality. In the mouth there is butter, stone and citrus fruit and a medium length. Good but straightforward.

December 23, 2011 - Light yellow. Sulpher at the front of the nose, apples, lemon and some nuttiness. There is a fair bit of Chardonnay character and a delicious slightly nutty finish.

July 28, 2011 - A well-balanced, fruity, ripe and mineral wine. The palate marries the sweetness of a ripe, extracted chardonnay with the woody sappiness of a riesling -- picturing a graft of a Central coast chard (varner) onto a body of a dry NY riesling (amici). Somewhat one-dimentional and not an thought provoking endeavor but a very satisfying wine. B
