  May 25, 2013 - bought this wine to be courteous as the staff at t he wine shop thought i was casing the joint. was hoping this wine would offer more but it turned out to be a disappointment. modest fruit, no backbone, not headed anywhere. does not improve with air. didn't realize until sitting down to write this note that we had the 2005 vintage in 2007 and it was substantially better.

  October 30, 2011 - Dark aromas of earth and espresso lead into a palate of black cherry, coffee, and chocolate. Smooth texture, fine tannins. Excellent QPR for around $11.

  January 16, 2011 - Drank at B & B's for NFL playoffs. Not much of a nose, dominantly red cherry & berry fruit w/just a hint of anise & vanilla. Likewise tart red berry fruit flavors.

  January 8, 2011 - What a boring wine. Colour is medium ruby, smells not much, taste like grape juice? Boring as hell. Spend a little more and get Yume. Way way more interesting.
  Never will buy this again. Look out for reds from Chinon or Anjou from Loir Valley Cabernet Franc for same price.
