December 7, 2017 - Decanted to reduce sediment which was essential. This wine needs lots of air! After two to three hours it had mellowed beautifully. Still dark maroon color, black fruit, dark chocolate, toast, funk, and oak, Nicely balanced with tannin and acidity. medium long finish. Drinking beautifully now.
