  July 6, 2013 - Paper filtered and decanted leaving a light, fine sediment in the filter and yielding a deep ruby liquor with perfumed fruit aromas. This was a very young, fruity wine to our palates - but, it was so layered and complex that the flavors just kept building on the tongue and lasting - finishing for almost 5 minutes or more. Ripe red berries, cherries, everything fruity and fresh is what this began as. And, we drank it so quickly, it never got a chance to evolve.

  January 3, 2013 - This is not a fruity Zin. A dark garnet with a nose of black cherry, white pepper and black truffle. The palate is rich and full bodied. Lots of spice forward with structured supple tannin both long and very tasty. This is a fun Zin to drink.

  November 26, 2012 - Very smooth drinkable wine. Decanted an hour. Nice mature fruit without tannins or alcohol. Drinking well.
