September 5, 2014 - Very dark, fragrant wine showing extremely well for such a young a Pegau. Aromatic ally complex: ripe blackberry fruit, toffee, garrigue, licorice, leather. Long finish, balanced, clean. A great wine!

August 10, 2014 - Drank over three nights at home. Very primary, although quite ripe fruit expression via fruitcake also quite traditional a la garrigue, tobacco, leather and animal. Very good concentration, quite silky, good acidity and nicely integrated tannins. Very nice but need another five to ten years.

July 19, 2014 - Sweet barnyard, residing deep within in a tobacco filed, tucked into a new silk purse that delivers a very long and bright finish. Brilliant, and more structure than the 2009, but the 2009 is much better NOW.

    * Slight chill this down to 45 and enjoy the texture changes on its way to room temp. The wine is powerful enough to still deliver softly while being cold and when it blooms, it adds yet another dimension...Just be careful, its easy to guzzle it when its cold :-)

July 1, 2014 - What a lovely rustic and wild bitch. Great amount of countryside impressions, cigaretts, musk and tons of typical herbs (rather complex impression). Not fat or alcoholc driven at all. Not too dense either.
Finish seemed fine. Not amazing. Starting to get interessting. I am sure this one will have abright future in the coming years.

    June 3, 2014 - Couldn't resist trying one bottle.

    Ap: Black ruby
Ar: Suprisingly intensive nose with black cherries, strawberries and pepper. Could not identify any brett as other has reported.
Full bodied, concentrated and good balance.
Suprisingly good length at this age

    50+5+14+18+10

Too young now, and I guess a point or two extra might be within reach if the development goes as it should.

Satisfied with having a case in my cellar. Great potential.
