December 12, 2015 - I guess I shouldn't have been surprised but this was the hit of the evening. Son in Law kept coming back.

November 19, 2015 - This is probably at peak. Great nose of black cherry, pie cherry, spicy oak, plum, and dark berries. On the palate, full of flavor but without weight, red plum, black cherry, spice, blackberry, and hints of tobacco. Nice balanced finish with some decent grip. Great with food. 13.7 alcohol. At $25, this was a great bargain.

November 8, 2015 - Cork disintegrated as it was removed from the bottle, but the wine was fine. Decanted for 2.5 hours. Medium reddish purple. Unremarkable aroma. Tannins are mellow, fruit moderate and dry. The wine has a disappointing quick finish.

October 10, 2015 - Brambles, dark cherries on nose. Smooth, fresh, dark fruit, cherries, long deep, rich. Lovely.

August 29, 2015 - Nose of black and blue fruits, dense on the palate, with great balance and a rich finish. Hard to believe it's nine years old, still tastes youthful. Really lovely wine.
