July 16, 2016 - Taste of butter and caramel. Delicious! Poured night one with some hummus and pita .... Haven't decided what night 2 will be!
March 21, 2015 - I normally don't get excited about a white wine but this was one of the highlights of our surf and turf dinner - a perfect accompaniment to lobster medallions and the salad.
The Darioush was butter colored, medium bodied, crisp and clean, initially slightly forward overtly acidic with tones of oak, but after an hour it settled down and was smooth, polished and balanced with pleasant layers of fruit - subtle pear, lychee, melon and slight hint of citrus and vanilla with just the right accent of soft smooth oak.

May 11, 2014 - Nice light French style chardonnay. Holding up well for the age.
March 23, 2013 - I'm truly impressed with the way this Chardonnay has grown up.
October 27, 2012 - Some butter and oak, but not too much. Good for sipping before dinner.
May 21, 2012 - Great classic American oaked Chardonnay. But not as good as the wine merchant had promissed.
January 23, 2012 - Interesting notes of honeydew melon and peach, followed by hints of butter and oak. Minerals, spice and acid on the finish. Paired well with food.
August 3, 2011 - Great paired with heavy cream sauce. Lobster Newburgh. Rich. Full, multifaceted gold.
April 26, 2011 - I was very surprised with this chardonnay very good
