March 7, 2013 - Brilliant ruby colour. Nice nose of red fruits--raspberry, cranberry and cherry. A very structured wine, with a strong acidic backbone and noticeable, but smooth tannins. Some oak coming through in a smoky form. Some heat on the somewhat bitter finish. Nose was more appealing than on the palate, this was a bit rough for my liking.
