January 1, 2018 - Beautiful bottle. Cherry, black fruit, touch of earth. seems like it is only beginning to develop some secondary notes. Will go strong for several more years.
December 20, 2015 - Gefällt mir besser als 1995. Anfangs gesundes Holz, dann vielschichtiger, frische Säure, feines Leder, schwarze Trüffel, später Brombeeren, Kreide, schaufelt mit der Zeit immer mehr Tanin in den Gaumen, tief.

March 23, 2013 - Decanted for just 15 minutes as it's beginning to show it's age now. Medium brick red; elegant complex nose of ripe black fruit and berries with earthy aromas; medium-weight, all the tannins are resolved, good structure, and has now lost the acidic backbone it once had. That's not to say it has become flabby, but rather has gently slipped into venerable old age. Good length and for a Pommard it's elegant, but this latest sample suggests it has peaked and needs drinking up over the next couple of years.
April 4, 2011 - Decanted one hour. Medium red; exuberant complex nose, of ripe black fruit and berries with earth aromas; medium-weight, all the tannins are resolved, good structure, but just beginning to taste a little flat. Still a slightly acidic backbone to the body to prevent it becoming flabby. The complexity from a couple of years ago has begun to fade. Good length and for a Pommard it's elegant, but this sample suggests it has peaked and needs drinking up over the next couple of years.
March 19, 2011 - Very good bottle, drinking well right now. Dark fruit aromas, nice body, good flavors, nice length.

July 22, 2010 - Decanted one hour. Medium red; wonderful complex nose, of ripe black fruit and berries with earth aromas; medium-weight, concentrated fresh flavours are beautifully structured. Good acidity and very good length. For a Pommard it's elegant. No trace of tannin and at it's peak. Can't see it getting better, but no rush to drink up either. Estimated maturity: 2006-2015
