October 5, 2010 - Caramelly and full of brown sugar, the nose is dominated by sweet ripeness and is full of blackberry jam. Lots of wild clover honey notes, and a deep, dark, toasted quality opens up with a spin in the glass.

Delicate at first, honey and blackberries are the first to emerge on the palate. Dried cherry, dried herbs, and sweeter notes of raspberry and vanilla meet at the mid palate. This is a nicely balanced wine, with sweet, ripe fruit and a dusty quality to the tannins. It’s pleasant, well executed, and worth trying.
