December 20, 2018 - 14.4% alcohol; I had written on the label 'bought 8/30/2011, $26' and it has been cellared in my Dometic wine refrigerator since then; light crystalline red/orange; screw top, light to medium legs; nose of alcohol, paper, citrus peel; vinturied and tasted at room temperature (23 degrees C); these are my first tasting notes for a Pinot Meunier, I was just bowled over by this wine; it is THE example of what an accompaniment to food should be; notes of raspberries, black berries, Meyer lemons; has aged very nicely; a terrific balance of tannins & fruit; nice, smooth finish with a very pleasant aftertaste; informal and elegant, pair with fish & chips, chicken

February 2, 2013 - Light red, dry with light floral and fruit. Nicely tart red berries, lilac, well balanced with smooth tannins, soft mouthfeel, some lightly tart tannins on the finish. Drinking very nicely now.

January 13, 2012 - Bright cherry flavors without a ton of tannins or acid to back it up. Tasty but just feels like it is lacking something. As others have mentioned, definitely not a wine for rich foods.

September 6, 2011 - Light raspberry and blueberry, cherry finish with rose essence. Not for food, would be drowned out.

June 11, 2011 - Some may like the light fruitiness with spicy beginning and light tannins on the finish, but for my palate munier always seems too thin.
