April 18, 2015 - A clear dissapointment. The dark cassis tastes merely like just jam, an unpleasant bitter tone stays on the tongue, it is just unbalanced. Earlier vintages, 2006, had a much more clear fruit, the acidity kept it balanced, and tones of violet was in harmony with the more darker cassis flavors. I hope that the coming vintages will perform as the earlier years, and that 2009 is just a parenthesis.

September 20, 2014 - An unassuming mix of rich red berries and a hint of vanilla. Smooth finish. Enjoyed even by the zinfandel hater in my family. Not an in-your-face like some of its cousins.

July 4, 2014 - From nose to finish, alcohol dominates what is otherwise good, dark fruit. Way out of balance.
