Perfect cork after a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days. Fruit burst on the first day and on day two this wine became a little flabby; more dried fruit, less fresh. Deep ruby color with little to no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of pomegranate and strawberry. Flavors of black cherry cola and raspberry with a hint of forest floor. This Pinot Noir has a medium to long finish. A balanced and flavorful Pinot Noir. This age worthy wine has more years of life left. My last bottle of this vintage. A great Pinot Noir at peak and a great winemaking effort.
November 16, 2021 - Drinking beautifully with big fruity nose of ripe cherries, lots of rich, velvety fruit in the mouth, excellent acidity and a very long delicious finish. At peak now and likely to stay greet for another 2-3 years
December 9, 2020 - Ruby color, relatively light fruit nose, the wine however has excellent up front cherry fruit and cola flavors. Good acidity and drinking really well for 11 years older. Long tasty finish.
April 30, 2020 - Decanted and drank over 4 hour period. The wine really benefited from some air and opened up to show amazing fruit, aroma and long delicious finish. Ruby color with nose of raspberry, strawberry and earthiness. Wine has excellent acidity and amazing fruit for 11 year old Cali pinot. Fruit flavors of velvety cherry, raspberry and strawberry jam Mouth coating texture with a long, long finish. I would guess there is another 3-5 years left but drinking beautifully right now.
December 30, 2018 - Pretty nose with aromas of tea, rose, strawberry upon opening. Medium body wine. Allowed 1 hour of decanted wine before tasting and drinking. Velvet finish, similar palate to nose, nice wine. Drink soon if it is still in your cellar to enjoy fully.

May 7, 2017 - - Ruby color with medium forming legs and aromas of tea, rose, raspberry, strawberry and smokey. It's in total harmony and has flavours of black pepper, smokey, cherry, raspberry and strawberry jam with a medium body. Round texture with a long finish - Decanted three hours. The wine is delicious and cellar can be extended 3-5 years. Great fruit, even better finish. Complex, inviting nose. Excellent wine.

Tasted non blind.
Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of Balsam wood, berries and cherries. Flavors of berries, cherries and raspberries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold.
August 29, 2015 - Long decant allowed this crimson dark Pinot to show its depth...very smooth , excellent on its own
February 20, 2015 - Absolutely terrific, red fruits at first and a bit of barnyard on the nose; opened up quickly, became a nice Pinot that was mostly old-world style. Drinking wonderfully right now.
