  July 24, 2016 - Fast forward 2 years, this bottle seems to have balanced out with a subtle nose, some earth/leather and fig. The palate now has dark chocolate, cherry, oak and some earthiness or leather. Nice taste, some heat from alcohol, and finishes with a bit of tannins and prune. Overall nicer than in 2014.

  December 19, 2014 - With red sauce pasta, PnP from 12C cellar seemed tight and disjointed, a bit acidic; tasted like a $5 market bottle. Recorked, no Ar, and into the fridge. Same bottle and leftovers three days later a totally different experience. Nice fruit, balanced acidity, tasty tannins and enough complexity to keep it interesting.

  August 21, 2014 - Fruit is starting to fade on this wine. Opens nicely within a few minutes of pour. Fruit forward still, some strawberry and spice with a nice lighter finish. Slightly thin and sweet. Decent super tuscan. Second day it was much flatter though still somewhat sweet.

  November 30, 2013 - Nice italian style red. Opened during thanksgiving, everyone liked it. Lighter, with a fruit forward taste, easy palate and smooth finish.
