May 23, 2016 - Dried mushrooms, dark cherry, and sharp cheese notes on the nose...seems very right bank. The wine hits the palate with some spunky acidity, then chewy tar and leather mixing with strawberry daiquiri and sour cherry. Feels a bit hot on the finish.1 person found this helpful Comment

December 24, 2015 - See previous note. Nice dark fruit. Sad that this was my last bottle.

August 29, 2015 - Evolving nicely. Very tart, juicy blackberries and plums against a square frame. Went much better with rich food. Drink now - 2021.

March 5, 2015 - Deep dark center, red rim with some signs of age.
Creamy, plummy, minty, chilly pepper, crushed black olives, perfumed dried basil and oregano, raspberry candy.
Sweet, fennel, plums, cut grass, a little dill, black pepper, modest tannin and acid, dried cranberry and blueberry finish.
Great Napa merlot, ripe and fruity, drinking well now, but needs an hour decant.
