March 1, 2014 - North Rhone 2010 Horisontal Tasting: Candied orange peel in different levels and a medium fresh acidity.

March 23, 2013 - Another Saturday night at The Papies (The Papies, Elizabeth St, London): To be honest we should have kept this for another 10 years but...
Orange tint to the colour. On the nose, orange peel and hazelnuts dominite. On the palate it has weight but nowhere near to what we expected and lacks the depth and complexity promised. Has the structure and acidity to make it another 30years easily but not as inspiring as the parker score suggests. 92 at best from us at the moment.

December 30, 2012 - While this had more elegance with more nutty tones, I found this had lost some of the apricot, richness and viscosity found in the 2006..but overall was a good end to a long evening dinner.

August 14, 2012 - A Chateauneuf Papies-Odyssey (The Papies, Elizabeth St, London): From half bottle. Good bottle and cork
A story of balance and elegance that usually is missing in sweet wines. Really nicely balanced but unfortunately it lacked the depth and the complexity at this stage especially given the expectation. 91-92 at best at this showing.
