February 4, 2024 - I can’t improve on my notes from Jan 23, 2021, except to say that the fruit is starting to fade and the nuances less perceptible yet still a superb mouthful. “ Fantastic!! Honey colored. Grapefruit, pineapple, hazelnut nose and palate. Beautiful acidity, citrus fruit with a slightly cloying texture and an astringent nutty almost bitter finish that is most welcome.“

July 17, 2022 - Golden color, no premox. Really bright and nice with minerality peaking thru. Oak is well integrated.

August 21, 2019 - I almost thought this one needed to be decanted. At first the nose out of the bottle and glass were quite muted. Eventually crushed gravel and dried herbs and yellow fruits emerged, but was rather subtle. Bright acidity throughout, fruit notes took a bit to start really expressing...overall this wine started expressing better after 30 minutes, but I still feel perhaps as if this wine could have expressed more and seemed a touch out of balance. Avg CT rating 93 based on 2 notes...I just didn't get that kind of experience. The complexity and expression of a 2015 Patz and Hall Hyde Chardonnay outdid this wine from nose to palate to finish, and I really would call these two styles to be quite similar.
