Community Tasting Notes 39

March 27, 2024 - From a 1.5 purchased from retailer. This wine is just indestructible! Two years on from my last time and the notes are consistent. This wine is still a stunning example of aged Priorat.

September 7, 2023 - Impressive! Melange of red fruit and garrigue. Nice palate weight and elevated alcohol. Absolutely Priorat.

September 11, 2022 - This wine is still alive. Good acidity, vibrant, grip, red berries, good length.

January 9, 2022 - At 24 years old, this magnum is in the perfect place. Beautiful dark maroon. Silky mouthfeel. The initial hotness and pepper from a younger age is now in the background and tertiary flavors of savory herbs and acidity are at the forefront. No need to wait any longer. Open now and enjoy.

    Absolutely Amazing. Next level juice.

PS: Pulled cork with a Durand and glad I did. Very little sediment.

February 16, 2018 - Drinking well now - ripe cherry, smoke, meaty notes, a nice herbal overlay - lavenderish. Distinctly modern feeling and both enjoyable but at the same time unexciting ***
