April 3, 2013 - A lush sexy Syrah with smokey leaves and meat. Reminds me of grilling meat outside on a Fall day. Moves into a Porto character on the finish. Well Done.

While several of the supposedly "50 % of retail" wines were instantly forgettable, this one at least had some quality. Deep ruby, inky appearance, almost gamey on the nose, meaty and grippy, lots of plummy dense fruit; it was really okay.
