February 1, 2008 - Interesting wine with a lot of earthy, dusty, dried fruit flavors. Not necessarily identifiable as Nebbiolo but intriguing. Has some rose and tar, but mostly dried cherries and tobacco, almost more sangio like.

September 10, 2005 - Bonny Doon Tasting Room (Santa Cruz, CA): DEWN wine. Light red wine color. Somewhat Zinny nose, lots of cherry. Huge oak on the palette, very tannic, with nearly no acid. Some fruit, but not much.
