November 10, 2014 - This was a big wine. Went well with bbq leg of lamb. Need air time.

July 23, 2013 - Maybe the others did not wait long enough. It was a delicious wine. Expected big and tannic, and got big and fruity yet with finesse. Tannins were fairly tame. Fruit was quite good. Finish was longer than I had planned. I have had 2 other Tannat's and this is the best version I have had. This is the forgotten Bordeaux varietal. Maybe it will make a comeback (or an initiation). I have the 2009's to enjoy a year or two from now - maybe longer
