October 19, 2014 - Very good QPR, still has some tannins that needs to settle
April 12, 2012 - This 2nd bottle was a completely different wine. Pretty nose of sweet vanilla bean, very leathery like a little CDP, nougat, red/black cherry and blueberry liqueur, and dried herbs. Fresh, chewy palate, leather, puckering acidity, pencil lead, rawhide, with a sweet-sour cranberry finish.
April 4, 2012 - Very Southern Rhone nose, very fresh, garrigue, brambly red fruit, red and black licorice, smoky herbs. Ripe palate, dark red fruit evokes black cherry reduction, extremely juicy midpalate, round, subtle meaty edge to the fruit. Fun to drink.
March 11, 2012 - Seemed to need decanting for about 60 minutes. Was quite good after, tart.
February 16, 2012 - Best CdR I've had in a long time. This had an extra level of complexity you rarely see in CdRs.
January 17, 2012 - enjoyed several bottles. good lazy afternoon drinker especially if bought at a discount
July 18, 2011 - Gorgeous, herbaceous, and savory. Little bit of sweetness but good acid balance. Love it.
July 7, 2011 - Really blown away by this wine. Complex as hell, perfectly balanced with a long finish. Good acidity as well. A great wine, amazing QPR.
