June 26, 2017 - Dark brown in color, with a firm apricot nose. Very nice sweetness, but not much acidity to balance it out. The wine is close to appearing cloying due to the lack of acid. It's still very good, and an excellent wine with apple pie.

March 18, 2013 - Never knew Phelps had this one in the cellar. It was poured for an event at the winery. Color was dark (like a light brown). Lots of residual sugar on the tongue. Honey, apricot and lush. Warm tones and mouth coating. Went well will the apple galette and honey ice cream.
