November 12, 2012 - Both of our bottles of this wine had a very odd marshmallow flavor overlaying the fruit. Very strange and won't buy this vintage again.
July 8, 2012 - Excellent rose. Salmon-copper in the glass. Summer flowers on the nose. A really lovely palate, blending berries, melons, and apricots.
July 2, 2012 - Beautiful hint of copper color. Cranberry/apricot, great acid, great with food or just enjoying the summer afternoon!
April 4, 2012 - Light and fruity. Not as good at home as the bottle at the store tasting. Not bad for $8, but I had hoped for more.
March 28, 2012 - French Wine Tasting 3/28/2012 (Gervais & Vine, Columbia, SC): This is a really nice little rose. It has just a hint more depth, structure, and concentration, enough to break the 90 point glass ceiling. The color is an intense pink. The nose is fresh cut roses, strawberry, cranberry, and a touch of wet stone minerals. From the second it crosses the lips, you know this one is a little more focused and intense. The cherry and cranberry is at first crisp and sharp, then melts into a structured softness. Almost perfect balancing acidity. Bigger mouth feel than typical for a rose, maybe a touch of glycerin. The finish seems firm and structured.
March 23, 2012 - Lovely wine. Tasted at a local wine shop and bought a bottle for later. Seems like a great Spring/Summer quaffer at $8 a bottle.
February 16, 2012 - This is one of the best Roses I have had in a long time. Slight pink color with enticing aromas of strawberry and melon. Fruit flavors were persistant on a long finish. It was delicious with tilapia and chocolate covered strawberries that followed. I am eagerly looking forward to drinking more of this wine on a warm day in July.
December 4, 2011 - Love this Rose. Great color of salmon/cantaloupe, but just a bit lighter, copperish.. Nose of sweet citrus fruits, honey and flowers with some nice mineral elements. Flavors of melon, lime, red apples, honey and some herbal/earthy tones. Great with lighter fare, but also good with various foods like burgers, ribs, bbq etc. Buy this whenever I can.
December 3, 2011 - Gorgeous pale salmon/apricot color, smell of strawberry & watermelon. Lovely & refreshing, dry, strawberries, melon, florals. My favorite Rose. Great with light summer fare or all by itself.
September 15, 2011 - Fantastic light copper color. Quintessential Provençal rosé: dry, crisp, minerally, refreshing, with a kiss of strawberry and citrus. Precisely as rosé should be.
