February 14, 2016 - Color: Full salmon hues.
Nose: very subtle; strawberry and baked bread - rather traditional.
Flavor: a yeasty, peachy, strawberry flavor on the front. The bubbles and slight acid make this an enjoyable sparkling wine that drops somewhat quickly in the finish.
Note: opened the bottle yesterday and just now writing notes. The wine holds up the day after quite well, to include the sparkling element. Flavors were more pronounced the evening of opening.

February 14, 2015 - A touch fruiter than the white sparkling. Enjoyable, though none to serious.

December 31, 2014 - NYE bubbly no. 2. PnP at refrigerator temperature. Very pretty pink color with fine bubbles. Nose is borderline offensive, with a strong frozen barnyard/cold manure note that is really off-putting. Nicer on the palate, but with exceptionally strong acid that gave it a hard edge. We could sense some strawberries and cream that wanted to break through, but it didn't. It paired reasonably well with baked crab dip. We'll rate it "average," 78/100.1 person found this helpful Comment

June 28, 2014 - A solid effort. Good red berry fruit, balanced acidity, vibrant sparkle, but the magic is not there. A bit like taking your second or third choice to the prom--sure you had fun, but your dream date was with someone else. Very Good. thedrunkencyclist.com

April 26, 2014 - Better than the Brut, but only marginally.
