January 16, 2024 - Drinking really nicely after 3 hour decant. Still a good amount of primary fruit; but beginning to show a bit of age. Refreshing acidity and tannins have softened. Drink now and for next few years.

    April 4, 2021 - Merlot 72%, Cab Fr. 14%, Cab S. 12%, 14,5% alc

November 29, 2020 - We opened our last bottle of Château Pressac 2010. Never have I tasted a wine with such a strong accent of Tahitian Vanilla, both at the nose and on the palate. We drank it with buttery pastas with anchovies and somehow they went well together. Then we tried the remainder of it with homemade Tahitian vanilla guimauves, and the pairing was just perfect. Surprising.

December 19, 2015 - Medium depth. Obvious oak scents. Sweeter red fruit than any other wine today, and more diffuse. Drying, astringent wood and tannin on the finish. Hard to love the balance here.

August 15, 2015 - Opened for 7 hours and drank over 3 more hours. Initially, fruit forward with long finish. Developed a very earthy funk over time and maintained the finish. More complexity developing the longer it's open. Drinking nicely now but fairly simple...needs time to develop. Long finish and balance make me think this has a long life ahead and will develop. Wait 2-3 years for next or give it a long decant. Would guess it will drink for another 8-10 without too much problem.
