May 11, 2019 - - Brick color with medium forming legs - Drinking perfectly now.
October 25, 2017 - Wow, this wine is really singing. Everyone loved this last night right out of the bottle. Drinking well now it's got a long life ahead of it. Just wish I had more in my cellar. Drink now or over the coming 5+ years.
January 31, 2017 - Deep garnet, long legs, concentrated glass staining color. Well balanced with black/purple/red brambly fruit.
January 14, 2017 - Deep purple garnet in color. Red/purple/black fruit with plum, black berry flavors, spicy earth underneath the fruit. Well balanced and very enjoyable.
November 6, 2016 - Big hearty syrah; worth the wait.
January 22, 2016 - Very savory Syrah characteristics with dark fruit. Tannins are there but smooth and the acidity is unobtrusive.
September 12, 2015 - Ripe fruit and menthol. A bit of heat. Okay but a bit too ripe.
July 12, 2015 - I'm loving Carlisle's Dry Creek Valley offerings, both Syrah and Zin!
