September 22, 2023 - Decanted for an hour (lots of sediment), and back into clean bottle. This is a big, rich, ripe, fruit forward style of wine. 100% merlot, black cherries, warm dark fruits and berries are easy to find. Some spice and tannins still resolving a little. I've bought a case or more of this in most good vintages and it continues to improve. Nice showing and a good food wine. +QPR

June 13, 2023 - Delicious and a great value. Quite a lot of sediment so I will stand up for several days next time and decant.

October 29, 2022 - Excellent. This remains such a solid steak wine. It's pretty full throttle and tips the scales at 15% abv, but it shows no alcohol heat. Deep black fruits, cassis, baked cherry, roasted earth, liquorice and spice. Not a profile I usually lean into, but I've really enjoyed the bottles of this I've had over the years. The depth and intensity feel straight from late-picked fruit rather than from extraction and additions. So it's clean.

This has been an outperformer for $26 USD.
